I'm Maddy, a yoga teacher based in Aberystwyth.
I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years; starting yoga as a young teenager, and training as a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Meditation Healing Glasgow in 2024. My personal practice has had a profound impact on my daily life, helping me manage anxiety, the stressors of daily life and giving me the tools to remain grounded and balanced through the different seasons of life.
I hold a BSc in physiotherapy, with over 10 years of experience working in both the NHS and private sector. While my background gives me a deep understanding of the physical body, the heart of my teaching lies in supporting people to connect with all layers of themselves, and find peace and balance.
I teach a blend of haha and vinyasa yoga along with yin classes. My teaching focuses on guiding participants to deepen their connection to their bodies and mind through developing increased awareness of their breath, physical sensations, mental patterns and subtle energy through breath work (pranayama), physical practice (asanas), mediation and relaxation.
I enjoy sharing the power of yoga with others, while continuing to explore and deepen my own practice.
